Chicken noodle soup

CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP🍛




Here's a simple recipe for chicken noodle soup:

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

 


1.  Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. 

2. Add chopped onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add cooked chicken and egg noodles to the pot. Reduce heat to low and simmer until noodles are cooked, about 8-10 minutes.

4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5. Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. 


Serve hot and enjoy your homemade chicken noodle soup!
