Hamburgers

 Hamburgers

Here's a simple recipe for making delicious hamburgers, along with the ingredients and short steps:

    Ingredients

  • 450g ground beef or chicken (80% lean, 20% fat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: cheese slices, lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise

    Steps

  1. Prepare the Ground Beef:

    • Divide the ground beef/Chicken into 4 equal portions.
    • Gently shape each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.
    • Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent puffing up during cooking.
  2. Season the Patties:

    • Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the Patties:

    • Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or adjust cooking time to your preferred level of doneness.
    • If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
  4. Toast the Buns:

    • While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.
  5. Assemble the Burgers:

    • Place each cooked patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun.
    • Add desired toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise.
    • Cover with the top half of the bun.
  6. Serve:

    • Serve the hamburgers immediately, while hot.
